Tomato Crazy!

We went a little crazy this winter ordering heirloom tomatoes. The following are tomato plants we are currently selling. Get yours soon before we run out!
Click on each to get more information, and pictures, of each variety.
Cherry: Black Cherry, Gardener's Delight, Snow White, Sun Gold.
Beefsteak: Black Krim, Black Zebra, Candy's Old Yellow, Caspian Pink, Cherokee Purple, Green Zebra, Moskovich (Early season), Persimmon, Pineapple, Stupice (Early Season).
Sauce and/or Drying: Black Plum, Principe Borghese
Overwhelmed by all the choices? How do you choose which varieties to grow? This ought to help: Later this summer, during harvest time, look for our Tomato Taste Test Event. Taste each variety and then place an early order for next year's growing season! Don't forget to purchase some to take home, too.
Warning: Tomato Indecision may result in tomatoes taking over yet more space in your garden next year!
Basils Galore!
What else goes well with tomatoes but basil? We carry the following varieties:
Cinnamon, Fino Verde, Globe, Mrs. Burns' Lemon, Purple Petra, Sweet Genovese (Sold out! We're starting more, so check back every few weeks.), and Thai.
Green Up Your Wedding
Are you getting married and looking for a different centerpiece for your reception tables? Have you ever thought about living centerpieces? We can supply you with edible herbs as centerpieces! Contact us for timelines, varieties and prices.
Harvest List
As of May 24th: it's almost time for rhubarb! Check our stand on Wednesdays (4 pm -8 pm) and Saturdays (8 am -2 pm) at the Boulder County Farmer's Market.
Got pots?
Do you have dozens (Hundreds?) of black plastic 2 1/2", 3", 5" deep (Like our tomato pots!) or one gallon pots in good condition sitting around in your garage?
Bring them back to us for reuse!
By doing so we will keep your pots out of the waste stream. Please be certain to only bring back pots in good reusable condition. We wouldn't want to receive a new plant in a broken pot. Would you?
Thanks!
